    Frequently asked questions

What does it cost to set up a Pilates studio?

A complete Pilates studio setup (6–10 Reformers plus accessories) starts at roughly €1,500 per month all-in when renting or leasing, including delivery, installation and maintenance. Buying requires a one-off investment of €15,000–€45,000 depending on the configuration. We prepare a room-specific proposal within 24 hours.

How many square metres do I need for a Pilates studio?

Allow roughly 6–8 m² per Reformer station including walkways. For a studio with 8 Reformers, 60–80 m² of studio floor space is realistic, plus changing and reception areas. Trapeze Tables need extra ceiling height (at least 250 cm).

What equipment do I need at minimum to get started?

A workable start is 4–6 Reformers, 1 Trapeze Table (Cadillac), 2 Stability Chairs and a set of accessories (mats, rollers, magic circles). We put together a matching package based on your class concept and average group size.

Can I rent or lease instead of buying outright?

Yes. For a new studio we recommend renting or leasing: no one-off capital outlay, flexible scaling up or down, and maintenance plus emergency replacement are included. Once demand is proven you can still switch to purchasing later.

What is the minimum rental period?

Three months. After that, the contract can be cancelled or extended monthly. Ideal for testing a concept before making large investments.

    Do you also handle installation?

Yes — delivery, assembly, adjustment and a short on-site instruction are included as standard. Standard delivery within 5–7 working days across Europe.

Ready to set up your studio?

A tailored proposal within 24 hours, delivery within 5–7 working days.

    Need a different model?

Looking for a different reformer model?

Rental.fitness rents only one reformer: purpose-built for the rental market — stronger, sturdier and easier to move than a standard studio reformer. For the full range (sales, other series, custom builds) we refer you to our sister brand DFX.
